You can now use manual shooting with the RICOH THETA app.

You can now use manual shooting with the updated RICOH THETA app.
You can now select “Shutter Speed Priority” and “ISO Priority” in addition to “Auto Shooting”.
You can also select the white balance when using “Shutter Speed Priority” or “ISO Priority”, enabling you to customize shooting settings as desired.

       

Contents of the version updates for each of the RICOH THETA apps are as follows.

■The iOS version app “RICOH THETA for iPhone”

  • You can now set the white balance, ISO sensitivity and shutter speed when shooting. Note that camera firmware needs to be updated.
  • You can now switch to the previous/next picture in the “App” single viewer screen by swiping with two fingers.
  • The display area in the “App” single viewer screen is now maintained when switching to the previous/next spherical image.
  • You can now save multiple spherical images to the camera roll at the same time from the “App” thumbnail list screen.

■The Android version app “RICOH THETA for Android”

  • You can now set the white balance, ISO sensitivity and shutter speed when shooting. Note that camera firmware needs to be updated.
  • You can now save multiple spherical images to the gallery at the same time from the “App” thumbnail list screen.
