RICOH Tours Now Supports Floor Plans and Tour Path Navigation for Your 360° Virtual Tours
Dec. 19, 2018

CUPERTINO, Calif., December 18, 2018 – RICOH Tours, a service of Ricoh Innovations Corporation, the only truly complete and affordable 360° virtual tour solution under one global brand, today announced two new features – the ability to integrate floor plans and quickly add tour paths allowing an easy walkthrough of 360° virtual tours.

Unlike conventional ‘video game’ like virtual tour experiences, which often come with a hefty price tag, require professional photographers and demand days to see a finished product, RICOH Tours 360° virtual tours with interactive floor plan integration can be created easily and on-site by any real estate agent in a matter of minutes. Adding virtual tour paths greatly enhances the property viewing experience – according to a 2018 Coldwell Banker survey 62 percent of Americans are more likely to choose an agent who offered VR tour capabilities over one that did not.

RICOH Tours tour path feature allows for connection between any points in a space, whether it’s room to room or floor to floor quickly and easily, available to view on the web, smartphone or tablet.

With floor plan support, agents are able to provide an easy-to-digest, comprehensive overview of properties. Images can be pinned and labelled for clear, smooth transition between rooms all from your mobile device.

RICOH Tours requires no technical or photography skill or expensive tools.  The process is done via the award-winning Ricoh Theta camera and mobile agent app (iOS and Android). Agents simply connect the camera and RICOH Tours agent app wirelessly to remotely capture with one-click high-quality 360° images. In the background these images are instantly assembled and uploaded to the cloud, creating true-to-life 360° virtual tours ready to be published on the go.

RICOH Tours gives agents a marketing edge by leveraging the power of the Theta camera and RICOH Tours software platform. With the camera, mobile app and web app all developed by Ricoh, if questions arise, there’s only one place an agent will need to go for support – further simplifying the user experience.
