We have collaborated with NYC Photo safari who will be offering this lecture and photowalk in NYC. This workshop focuses on how to take pictures of the environment (from cityscapes to landscapes) with RICOH THETA. It will take place at the World Trade Center where you’ll get a chance to photograph the beautiful World Trade Center, Oculus and we’ll also venture to the new Fulton Train station as well.
For this session you’ll need to bring either your Android or iPhone and download the RICOH THETA and THETA+ apps (More information will be made available after registration). During the workshop you’ll also learn how to use the editing software to create amazing images with a 360 image.

The unpredictable Japanese — themed evening was filled with beautiful Lolita Girls, interactive installations which provided excellent backdrops for 360 photos, Taiko drummers, Omodaka — the show stopping performer who composed songs on an old GameBoy set in front of super trippy animation projections – last but not least, the star of the evening, the RICOH THETA camera itself.
Upward of 200 guests sipped sake cocktails while posing for 360 photos throughout the evening to tunes by DJ Morse Code.
