We are now taking submissions for 360º images shot using RICOH THETA. The theme this time will be “#weekendtrip”!
Shoot a 360º image using THETA during the weekend, use the THETA+ app to edit the image and post it to Instagram. From among the images entered into the contest, we will then select 20 outstanding images, and 1 person with the most outstanding image, and give winners a gift of original THETA merchandise.
We look forward to seeing the 360º images of your fun weekend.

2. How to submit:
・Please follow our official account, @theta360official.
・Post your image entries along with the hashtag (#weekendtrip, #thetaweekend360 and #theta360) in the comment field.
・Images posted should be shot using RICOH THETA and edited using THETA+.
・Winners will be asked to provide both the original file taken directly from THETA (the Equirectangular Image) and the cropped image or animation exported after editing (Both files are required)*.
*Submitted image data will be used on our website, in catalogs, at events, on official RICOH THETA SNS accounts and elsewhere.
*Multiple submissions are allowed.
*Submissions that do not meet conditions will not be considered.

4. Announcement of results
Winners will be announced on theta360.com and the official @theta360official Instagram account, after the deadline closes. Winners will also be contacted by direct message from the official @theta360official Instagram account before the results are announced.
5. Use of submissions
Submissions chosen to win a prize may be displayed on our website, in catalogs, at events, on official RICOH THETA SNS accounts and elsewhere. Additionally, images may be altered before publishing.
We will only accept photos taken by you.
When submitting work in which individuals can be easily identified, be sure to obtain permission from the individuals involved.
We do not allow entries that have already been submitted to a contest run by another company.
Responsibility for any claims by persons involved over rights to use one’s likeness or other such issues are solely the responsibility of the applicant, and the sponsor accepts no liability.
Personal information acquired via this contest may be used in announcing winners and notifying participants of results. Personal information will not be disclosed or provided to third parties without permission of the person in question.
RICOH accepts no liability if there is an infringement of rights of a third party concerning such as the rights to use one’s likeness in the photo posted to Instagram.
Any posted photo that infringes on another person’s privacy, violates public order and morals or infringes copyright will be deemed void.
If a dispute occurs with a third party due to the photo being published, the person who posted the image shall resolve the dispute by taking responsibility and covering any costs.
Work that will win the Instagram contest may be exhibited on the RICOH website and gallery. We look forward to seeing your submissions.
