RICOH THETA now supports to Google Maps and Google+, which are offered by Google Inc.
Google Maps is a Web-based service that provides detailed information about geographical regions and sites around the world. Google Maps shows not only location information but also photographs. It also allows users to post their own photographs and share them with the world on Google Maps.
Google+ is a social networking and identity service where users can post content such as photos and share them with friends.
Starting today, spherical images taken with RICOH THETA will be compatible with Google’s services. You can do the following things:
- You can post and view spherical images on Google Maps Street View.*1
- Google+ enables users to easily post and share their spherical images with friends.
- You can create your own Street View by posting and linking your spherical images on the Google Maps Views community.
