A version update for the RICOH THETA app is now available.
Contents of the version updates for each of the RICOH THETA apps are as follows.
＜Basic app＞
■RICOH THETA S for iOS
・It is now possible to remotely shoot images by pressing the volume button on your smartphone for version iOS 11.
* Remote Shooting may not be possible if the volume is muted or maximized.
・It is now possible to select a plug-in to activate at the settings screen of the Basic app.

*Camera firmware needs to be updated to the newest version (Version 2.10.1 or higher).

・It is now possible to upgrade firmware for the RICOH THETA V camera from the smartphone app.
Please note that there are times when the firmware file will be around 700MB in size resulting in a lot of data traffic and it will take some time to complete.
■RICOH THETA S for Android
・It is now possible to select a plug-in to activate at the settings screen of the Basic app.
